A few days ago a story broke revealed the actions of a Boston Red Sox fan that was working on a construction job...building the new Yankee Stadium. Gino Castignoli, the Red Sox fan, brought a David Ortiz Sox jersey to work one day with the intention of putting the jersey into the concrete as it was being poured in hopes it would curse the Yankees. He was successful.
However, soon after the story broke the Yankees investigated, found the location, and hammered the concrete pulling the jersey back out! Watch this video for the full story:

Man the things these nutty fans of these two evil empires will do out of superstition. I yearn for the day (it may not come for another decade or so) that the Yankees and Sox are simply battling to stay out of the basement in the AL East. Too bad MLB doesn't have a salary cap.
